The lake

Locals just call it “The lake,” which tells you pretty much everything about how Suring feels about this spot. It’s the kind of place people end up on a warm evening without really planning to — close to the Kelly Lake Kwik Stop if you need to grab something before you head down. Worth knowing ahead of time: it’s not wheelchair accessible, so the terrain is what it is. Small town, real lake, nothing fancy about it.
