Fireman’s Park Beach

If you live anywhere near Verona, this beach spot is basically your summer headquarters from June through August. The splash pad is legit — slides, water features, and enough space that kids aren’t constantly crashing into each other. Shade trees and covered seating mean the adults actually survive the afternoon too, and the restrooms are consistently clean, which honestly can’t be said for every park around here. Lifeguards on duty, open grass for when the little ones need to run it out, and picnic tables right there when it’s time to eat — it’s a well-thought-out setup that works for every age.
