If you’re making the drive out to Moorcroft, Keyhole State Park is genuinely worth it. The reservoir views are the real draw here — you get that wide-open Wyoming sky reflecting off the water, and it doesn’t get old. There’s a walking path, open grass to spread out on, and the facilities (restrooms, picnic tables, parking) are actually kept up, which you can’t always count on at smaller state parks. Good for camping overnight or just a afternoon stop if you’re passing through on 90. Families with little kids do well here given the lake access and flat open space to run around.
