Pine Ridge Park

If you’ve got a crawler or a wobbly toddler, this little Bend park is genuinely one of the better spots in the area for that age group. The play surface is soft and forgiving — the kind where you’re not holding your breath every time someone takes a tumble. Shade trees and covered benches mean you can actually sit and relax instead of squinting into the sun, which, if you’ve spent a summer afternoon in Central Oregon, you know matters. There’s a walking path and bike track if older siblings need to burn energy, plus a big open grass field that’s good for nothing in particular and everything at once. It’s a quiet neighborhood park, nothing flashy, but that’s honestly the point.
