This one’s a local favorite for good reason — the creek access alone makes it worth the trip, with kids gravitating straight to the shallow water and that little sandy patch like it’s their own private beach. The trail running alongside Campbell Creek is solid for biking or a leisurely walk, and it connects nicely into the surrounding forest paths if you want to stretch it out. Bring a lunch because the picnic tables actually get used here, and the open grass field gives younger kids room to run while older siblings take laps on the bike track. It’s well-kept, which in Anchorage you genuinely appreciate. Best for the 3–10 crowd, though honestly the setting draws everyone.
