Ocean View Park

The zipline alone makes this place worth the trip — kids absolutely lose their minds for it, and honestly it never gets old to watch. Tucked into a quiet neighborhood with forest trails nearby, it has that rare combination of solid play equipment and genuine open space to just run around. The soccer field and basketball court mean older kids and adults aren’t stuck watching from the sidelines, and the walking path is a nice touch if you want to decompress while the little ones burn off energy. Shaded seating exists, which in Anchorage summers is more of a bonus than a necessity, but it’s a thoughtful detail. Everything here is well-kept — no broken equipment, no overgrown mess — which isn’t something you can say about every park in the city.
