Honestly, this one’s more of a low-key locals’ spot than a destination you’d plan a whole trip around. It’s a decent place to spread out a blanket and eat lunch without fighting crowds, which in Rapid City during tourist season is worth something. Don’t expect a ton of facilities — and heads up, it’s not wheelchair accessible, so keep that in mind before making the drive. But if you just want somewhere quiet to decompress, it does the job.
