Locals around Rapid City tend to keep this one in their back pocket for good reason. It’s the kind of place that actually gets maintained — no broken equipment, no trash everywhere, just a clean spot where kids can run around without you doing a safety inspection first. There’s enough going on activity-wise that kids aren’t bored five minutes in. Families of all ages seem to find something here, which isn’t always a given with parks in the area.
