Cearn Chilleagraidh Playground

Tucked into one of Stornoway’s residential corners, this is a solid wee playground that gets the basics right. The climbing structure keeps older kids busy while younger ones tend to gravitate toward the swings and merry-go-round — there’s enough variety that siblings of different ages can all find something. The wide gate is genuinely useful if you’re arriving with a pram, which isn’t something every playground in town has thought about. Good for the 3–12 crowd, and the kind of place you’d send kids to burn off energy on a dry afternoon.
