Murieston Play Park

If you’re local to Livingston, you probably already know this one’s a solid choice for a weekend morning. The walking path along the river is genuinely lovely — not just a loop around a car park — and the open grass gives dogs plenty of room to have a proper run without getting in anyone’s way. There’s a football pitch too, which keeps older kids busy while younger ones use the play area. Parking’s easy enough, the place is kept clean, and the pond nearby adds a nice bit of scenery. It’s the kind of park you end up at more than you planned to.
