Solid wee spot for younger kids — the play area is well-suited to toddlers and early primary age, nothing too intense. There’s parking right there which, if you’ve got little ones to unload, you’ll appreciate more than you’d think. The football training pitches make it a decent Sunday outing if one parent’s watching a game while the other keeps an eye on the kids. Worth knowing there’s a snack bar nearby that locals rate, handy when someone inevitably declares they’re starving five minutes in. It also sits on the Sunday parkrun route, so there’s usually a decent bit of life around the park on weekend mornings.
