If you’ve got a toddler in Kendal and it’s raining (so, most days), this place is genuinely one of the better options going. The themed play areas — think construction zones and a little post office — give kids something to actually engage with rather than just a generic soft play setup. It’s kept really clean, the staff are friendly without being over the top, and parents can keep an easy eye on the kids throughout. The cafe does decent coffee and cake, which matters when you’re in for a long haul. Solid spot for the under-8 crowd.
