The play train is honestly the highlight for the little ones, though the climbing structure keeps older toddlers busy long enough for you to actually sit down at one of the picnic tables and drink a coffee while it’s still warm. There’s a decent walk around the lake if you want to stretch it into a proper afternoon out, and the open grass field means kids can just run about when they’re done with the equipment. It gets busy, especially on sunny days, so parking can be a bit of a scramble — worth arriving early. Grab an ice cream and do a lap of the lake after; that’s the move.
