Barleyhill Road Park

Decent little park that punches above its weight for its size — the climbing structure, slides, and swings cover a good range of ages, so you’re not stuck bringing kids of the same ability. The safety surface underneath the equipment is a proper bonus, especially after wet weather when everything else turns to mud. There’s a football pitch and a decent stretch of grass beyond it, which means the older ones can have a kick-about while the younger kids do their thing. Dogs are welcome too, and parking’s right there, which in Leeds is never something to take for granted. Nothing flashy, but it’s well-kept and does exactly what a local park should.
