Christleton Park and Playing Field

Tucked away from the main road, this Christleton favourite is the kind of place where kids actually stay busy for a full afternoon. The sandpit is a proper one — big enough that a few different groups can dig away without getting in each other’s way — and the climbing frames give older kids something worth tackling. There’s a bike track too, which is a nice touch if your little one is working on their wheels. Parking’s easy, the pond nearby adds a bit of character to the whole spot, and the open grass field means there’s room to just run about when the structured stuff gets boring.
