Children’s Play Area – Grosvenor Park

If you’ve got a toddler and you’re anywhere near central Chester, Grosvenor Park is genuinely one of the better options in the city. The play area is fully enclosed, which makes a real difference when you’ve got a runner on your hands — slides, swings, a tire swing, seesaw, climbing frame, and a little play train that kids absolutely lose their minds over. The miniature railway running through the park is right there too, so you can easily factor that into the visit without trekking anywhere. There are picnic tables under decent shade trees, the loos are nearby, and the pond with the ducks is just a short walk if you need to wind things down after. It’s a proper afternoon out without having to get in a car.
