Old Down Estate

If you’re local to Bristol and haven’t taken the kids to Old Down Estate yet, you’re genuinely missing out. The play area has a solid setup — zipline, climbing structure, slides, and a sandbox — but honestly the whole estate is the draw, with forest trails, a pond nearby, and enough open grass to let kids completely lose their minds running around. Pack a picnic because the tables are there and the shade trees make it actually pleasant to sit for a while. There are farm animals to see too, which tends to go down well with little ones. It’s also a wedding venue, which somehow doesn’t get in the way of the family day out side of things at all.
