Redland Green Playground

Tucked into Redland Park, this one’s a proper local gem for families with little ones — the sandpit is genuinely good, with enough space for a group of toddlers to do their thing without everyone being on top of each other. There’s a zip line too, which always goes down well with the slightly older kids while the younger ones stick to the sand. Shade trees keep it bearable on the rare sunny Bristol day, and the picnic tables mean you can actually sit down properly rather than perching on a kerb. The open grass field gives kids room to run, and being close to trails means you can easily tack on a short walk if you’ve got the energy. Parking nearby and a quiet neighbourhood setting make this one of the easier parks to get to and actually enjoy without the stress.
