If you’re after somewhere to kick a ball around without tripping over litter, Saxon Fields delivers. The soccer field and open grass area give kids proper room to run, and the basketball court gets decent use from older kids who’d otherwise be hanging around with nothing to do. There’s a tire swing alongside the regular swings, which always seems to be the first thing younger ones make a beeline for. It’s kept noticeably clean and tidy — genuinely one of the better-maintained spots in Andover, which makes a difference when you’re there regularly.
