Down on Millstream Close, this is one of those spots that locals with little ones keep coming back to. The open grass field is genuinely spacious — plenty of room for a kick-about or spreading out a picnic blanket without feeling cramped. Toddlers do particularly well here, and the path along the river makes for a decent walk while the kids burn off some energy. There’s a basketball court if older kids or teens want something more structured, and the outdoor gym kit means parents don’t have to just stand around watching. The pond nearby adds a nice touch — worth a look on the way round.
