Turnpike Road Playground

Honestly one of the better spots in Andover for the really little ones — we’re talking proper toddler territory, not one of those parks where the equipment is way too big for under-threes. The wooden climbing bits have a nice feel to them, and the slide and swings are sized just right for small kids to actually use without you hovering constantly. What makes it stand out locally is the wheelchair accessible swing, which you don’t see everywhere and makes a real difference for families who need it. It’s compact, which some people might see as a negative but actually keeps things manageable — you can see the whole space at a glance. There’s open grass alongside if you want to kick a ball around after.
