The play kit covers the basics well: slides, swings, and a merry-go-round that keeps kids of pretty much any age happy for a decent stretch. What sets it apart is the football field alongside it, which is proper size and well looked after, so you’ve got somewhere for older kids to run off steam while the younger ones do their thing. Parking’s straightforward too, which makes the whole trip a lot less faff. Barnstaple’s lucky to have a community space that earns its keep like this one does.
