Swimbridge Park

Got to hand it to whoever planned this one — splitting the play area into zones for little ones and older kids makes a real difference when you’ve got mixed ages in tow. The climbing frame is a proper chunky thing, and the zipline tends to be the main event for the school-age crowd. River bank access is a nice bonus for a post-play wander, and the car park takes the stress out of getting everyone there. It’s one of the newer additions to the Barnstaple area and already feels like a local staple.
