Tarka Trail Play Park

Fairly new addition to the Tarka Trail stretch through Barnstaple, and honestly it’s a decent spot for younger kids — the range of equipment suits the 3+ crowd well enough that you’re not stuck watching a toddler stare longingly at stuff they can’t use. That said, some bits are already showing wear faster than you’d hope for something that hasn’t been around that long. Worth a stop if you’re cycling or walking the trail with little ones, but don’t go out of your way specifically for it.
