If you’ve got a toddler who just wants to run around and a boot full of kit, this place genuinely ticks both boxes. The football pitch gets decent use from locals, and the open grass is exactly the kind of flat, sprawling space that under-2s absolutely lose their minds over in the best way. Parking is right there, which sounds minor until you’ve wrestled a buggy across half of Southampton. It’s nothing flashy, but as a no-fuss spot for a kick-about or letting the little ones roam, it does the job well.
