Southampton Common Playground

The Common is one of those places where you can actually breathe — loads of open grass, a proper walking path, and enough space that the kids aren’t constantly on top of each other. The water feature is the big draw on warm days, and honestly it gets busy for good reason. Slides, swings, and a solid climbing structure mean there’s enough to keep different ages happy at the same time. It’s well kept too, which isn’t something you can say about every playground in the city — the facilities including baby changing and toilets are actually maintained. Grab a spot at one of the picnic tables and you’ve got a decent few hours sorted.
