Mayfield Play Park

One of the better parks in Southampton if you ask me — the Spitfire climbing frame alone is worth the trip, and kids absolutely lose their minds for the zipline. It’s fully fenced with proper gates, so younger ones (we’re talking toddlers up to about 12) can run around without you having to constantly chase them toward the road. There’s decent parking, benches dotted around, and if you need a coffee to survive the visit, there’s a cafe on site. Beyond the play area you’ve got basketball courts, football pitches, and open grass that actually gets used. The woods trail nearby is a solid bonus if the kids still have energy left — which, somehow, they always do.
