Honestly, if you’re doing the Taw Estuary stretch of the SW Coast Path with kids, this place is a proper little find. The pirate ship setup goes down a treat with younger ones, and it’s kitted out to be accessible too, which you don’t always get at spots like this. Fremington Quay is just a short walk away, so it’s easy to make a full afternoon of it — grab a coffee, let the kids burn off energy, job done. Classic North Devon, really.
