Given Grove Playground

The recent makeover at this Pauanui spot has made it one of the better playgrounds in the area — definitely worth pulling over for. Two racing flying foxes are the obvious drawcard, and honestly the kids will queue up for those all afternoon. Beyond that there’s a solid mix of slides, swings, and climbing gear that keeps both the little ones and the older kids busy at the same time. There’s even a drinking fountain on site, which you’ll appreciate after a couple of hours in the sun. A genuinely good alternative when everyone’s beached out.
