Right on Ian Hopper Way, this little playground sits pretty much as close to the Pauanui Waterways as you can get without getting your feet wet. It’s a solid pick for families with toddlers and under-fives — nothing too wild, just the kind of easy, accessible setup that works when you’ve got small kids in tow. The waterfront setting does a lot of the heavy lifting, honestly. Park up, let the littlies run around, and enjoy the fact that Pauanui is doing its usual thing of being quietly lovely on a good day.
