Playground

Right by the beach at Pauanui’s south end, this little playground is genuinely handy if you’ve got toddlers in tow. It’s set up with the under-5s in mind, so nothing too wild, just good, manageable stuff for little kids to get stuck into. The beach access is the real drawcard — you can let the kids play and then just wander straight down to the sand. Families with prams or accessibility needs will find it easy enough to get around too.
