One of New Plymouth’s best recent additions, this playground genuinely earns the “destination” label. The long slides are a proper hit with kids, and the water play area means you should probably bring a change of clothes — fair warning. There’s enough variety between the climbing structure, tunnels, and sandbox that different ages can split off and do their own thing while parents grab a spot at the BBQ or picnic tables. The sea views are a nice bonus while you’re keeping an eye on things. Parking, restrooms, and a bike track round it out — it’s a solid full-afternoon spot.
