Papaioea Park Playground

If you haven’t been to Papaioea Park since they did it up, it’s worth swinging by — the climbing structure is solid and the kids genuinely get stuck into it. What I like is that it’s not just for little ones; there’s exercise gear for adults too, so you’re not just standing around watching. The edible garden is a nice touch, something a bit different from your standard park setup. Plenty of open space to spread out, and it feels well-kept without being sterile. Good spot for a family afternoon in the middle of the city.
