The recent reno has made a real difference here — it’s one of those small local parks that actually feels worth stopping at now. New climbing fort and slides mean the little ones have something proper to get stuck into, and the 2+ age range makes it a solid pick for toddlers and preschoolers especially. It’s not huge, which honestly works in its favour — easy to keep an eye on the kids without chasing them across a massive oval. Marrickville locals seem to have cottoned on, but it never feels overrun. Good option when you just need somewhere close and low-key.
