Locals with kids in Marrickville already know about this one — it sits right alongside Mackey Park, which means plenty of open grass to run onto when the play equipment gets too crowded. It’s the kind of spot that works well on a weekday morning, especially given how close it is to the childcare centres in the area. Nothing flashy, but it gets the job done for families in the neighbourhood.
