On a hot Marrickville afternoon, this spot genuinely delivers — the water play area keeps kids occupied for hours while parents actually get to sit down and breathe. There’s a solid mix of equipment for the little ones: slides, swings, a zipline, and a sandbox, so even the kids who aren’t into getting wet have options. The shade trees do real work here, which matters when it’s 35 degrees and you’ve committed to a BBQ with the whole family. Parking is right there, the bathrooms exist and function, and you can keep an eye on everyone from the picnic tables without having to hover. Honestly one of the better setups in the inner west for the one-to-ten crowd.
