Tilles Park

If you’ve lived in St. Louis for more than a year, you already know Tilles Park — especially come December when the Winter Wonderland lights take over and half the city shows up for carriage rides and holiday chaos (in the best way). The rest of the year it’s a solid neighborhood park with a playground that keeps kids ages 2 to 12 busy, plus wide open grass fields and a walking path that actually gets used. There’s a dog park on site too, and it’s one of the cleaner ones you’ll find in the area. Restrooms, picnic tables, and decent parking mean you can actually stay a while without scrambling for basics. It’s the kind of place that becomes a family tradition without you even trying.
