Bohrer County Park

Good spot if you want a low-key afternoon without the crowds. The playground covers a solid age range — little ones through about 10 — with enough variety that kids aren’t fighting over the same equipment the whole time. Pack a cooler, grab one of the picnic tables near the BBQ area, and you’ve basically got a full afternoon sorted. The walking path around the pond is a nice way to wind down after the kids burn off some energy, and the basketball court keeps older siblings busy. Restrooms are clean, parking is easy, and the shaded seating actually gets used — someone thought that one through.
