Corroboree Park Playground

Corroboree Park is one of those spots that locals keep coming back to, and honestly it makes sense — the big eucalyptus trees do a lot of the heavy lifting when it comes to keeping things cool on a hot Canberra day. The playground has enough going on to keep toddlers and older kids busy at the same time, with slides, swings, a seesaw, and a climbing structure that actually gets a workout. Pack a lunch because the BBQ and picnic setup is genuinely decent, and there’s shaded seating if you’d rather not bake while the kids run around. The basketball court nearby means older kids aren’t stuck waiting for a turn on the equipment, which helps when you’ve got a mixed-age group. It’s a solid all-rounder for Ainslie families without being too far from anything.
