Farrer Nature Play & Adventure Trail

If you’re local to the south side of Canberra, this one’s worth going out of your way for. The nature play setup is genuinely well thought out — there are separate areas for younger and older kids, with climbing structures, tunnels, a tire swing, and a sandpit that actually gets used rather than just sitting there. The bike track with obstacles keeps older kids busy while the littles do their thing, and parents get shaded seating with decent sightlines across the whole space. Picnic tables, restrooms, parking — it’s all there, so you can actually stay a while without planning around it.
