Farrer locals know this one well — it’s a solid little playground that does exactly what it needs to do without any fuss. The climbing structure keeps kids busy, and the metal slide gets properly fast on a warm day, which the kids love even if the parents are slightly less enthusiastic. There are swings too, which honestly are still the thing that draws the biggest crowds regardless of age. Shade trees do a decent job of keeping things bearable through summer, and there’s a bench if you need to sit and watch the chaos unfold. Nothing flashy, but it’s a reliable spot for a run-around in the suburb.
