Right next to the shops in Gungahlin, this one’s genuinely handy if you’re running errands and need somewhere to let the kids burn off some energy. The swings are a hit with the toddlers, and the shade trees actually do their job on a hot Canberra afternoon — which, if you’ve spent any time here in summer, you know matters a lot. Benches mean you can sit and watch without hovering, and parking nearby makes the whole thing pretty low-stress. Good for the younger crew up to primary school age.
