The equipment got a refresh not too long ago, so you’re not dealing with the rusty relics you find at some of the older ACT playgrounds. Shade trees do a decent job of keeping things bearable in summer, and there are benches nearby so you’re not standing around like a spare part. The paved paths around the oval are perfect for balance bikes and scooters — kids can loop around without you stressing about traffic. Chuck in a basketball court and a big open grass field, and honestly you can stretch a visit here to a couple of hours without anyone complaining.
