Harding Street Playground

The tire swing is honestly the main draw here — kids absolutely love it, and you rarely see them at playgrounds anymore. It’s a smaller setup in the heart of Watson, but the shade trees do a genuinely good job of keeping things cool on a hot Canberra afternoon, and there’s usually a decent breeze through too. You’ve got your standard slides, swings, and a climbing structure alongside a nice open grass area for a kick of the footy. Just know that parking on Harding Street can get a bit tight, so walking or cycling from nearby streets is the smarter move.
