Muston Park Rocket Ship Playground

The rocket ship has been a Chatswood landmark for decades — plenty of local parents played here as kids and now bring their own. It’s a solid setup with slides, swings, climbing structures, and tunnels, so there’s enough to keep different ages busy without everyone fighting over the same piece of equipment. The BBQ area and picnic tables make it genuinely easy to turn a Saturday afternoon into a proper family outing, and the shade trees actually do the job on hot days. A bike track and open grass field round things out nicely, and the nearby pond adds a bit of atmosphere. New equipment has been added alongside the heritage bits, so it doesn’t feel tired.
