Pelican Park playground

Right on the edge of Lake Illawarra with the beach basically a stone’s throw away, this little spot is genuinely one of the better places to take toddlers around here. The views over the water are lovely — the kind where you actually stop and look instead of just chasing kids around. It’s low-key and relaxed, which suits the little ones perfectly since there’s no overwhelming equipment to stress about. Pack a picnic, let the toddlers do their thing, and enjoy the scenery.
