East Point Reserve Playground

If you live in Darwin and haven’t spent a Sunday arvo out here, you’re missing out. The playground itself is solid for toddlers and young kids, but honestly the whole reserve is the attraction — Lake Alexander is right there, the beach is a short walk away, and the sunset views over the water are genuinely hard to beat. Pack a cooler, fire up one of the BBQs, and let the kids run loose on the open grass while you actually relax for once. The walking tracks around the reserve are good too, flat and easy, great for wearing out little legs before the drive home.
