East Point Reserve

If you haven’t spent a sunset at East Point yet, you’re genuinely missing out — the light over the water here is something locals never get tired of. The paved paths wind past WW2 ruins and down toward the lake, great for a casual bike ride or an evening walk when the heat finally backs off. There are BBQs and picnic tables scattered throughout, so it’s an easy spot to make a proper afternoon of it. All ages find something to do here, whether that’s kicking a ball on the open grass or just sitting by the water watching the fruit bats head out at dusk.
