Leyshon Park Playground

The timber climbing structure here is genuinely solid — good height, proper grip, the kind that actually challenges kids rather than boring them after five minutes. Swings are well-maintained, there’s real shade from the trees, and the BBQ area makes it easy to turn a quick afternoon visit into something longer. The open grass field gives younger kids plenty of room to run, and the walking path along the edge of the park is a nice bonus if you want to stretch your legs while the little ones burn energy. Being close to the water gives the whole place a relaxed feel that a lot of suburban parks just don’t have. Locals know this one — it doesn’t get overrun on weekends, which is half the appeal.
