If you’re doing the riverside trail on bikes, this is the obvious place to stop — good shade, picnic tables, and enough going on with the slides, swings, and climbing structure to keep kids busy while adults actually sit down for five minutes. The river views are genuinely nice, and the whole setup feels pretty relaxed rather than chaotic. It works for little ones and older kids alike, which isn’t always a given. Being close to the forest trails makes it easy to tack onto a longer outing if you’re already in the area.
